Bald
Hill - Tuesday
and Thursday Nights - With between 500 and 1500 cars, this is one of the biggest
weekly car
shows on Long Island. LIE to exit 63, Ocean ave north. Follow the
signs that say car show or the parade of cars.
Captree State Park (Winter) and OBI (Summer)- Take a nice ride on
sunday mornings to captree state park or the OBI. The cars that hang out at the
OBI during the warmer months move to captee for the winter.
Captree offers an indoor cafe with hot chocolate and coffee. There is
also indoor seating to get you out of the cold. The majority of the
cars are corvettes, but you will see many other cars present. It
starts and ends early. Cars start showing up around 8am and start
clearing out around 11am.
Southern State Parkway to Robert Moses
Causeway (Exit 40), south to Park. Or Ocean Parkway to the end.
